they've landed!

Neil's parents are due to arrive any second now.  We've cleaned and fixed and rearranged and ... generally battered the house into ship shape shape (as much as possible) for the last four days.  And now we have parental guests who will be here until Thursday afternoon, who have never ever stayed with us before, not in the 11 years we've been dating (they always stay at hotels).  So the week, I'm sure, will be interesting.

But hey, they're both less mercurial than my mom.

And they're here!!  so i'll be off LJ for days!   BYE!

OH GODS i really wish ice cream actually worked! *clings* it's been a weird couple of days ... i just keep telling myself it'll be over by thursday, over by thursday, over by thursday (and then i can get back to the business of taking tests)
