they've landed!

Neil's parents are due to arrive any second now.  We've cleaned and fixed and rearranged and ... generally battered the house into ship shape shape (as much as possible) for the last four days.  And now we have parental guests who will be here until Thursday afternoon, who have never ever stayed with us before, not in the 11 years we've been dating (they always stay at hotels).  So the week, I'm sure, will be interesting.

But hey, they're both less mercurial than my mom.

And they're here!!  so i'll be off LJ for days!   BYE!

Ahh, excellent. I have been wondering for a few posts now. *grins* I dunno, it could have been an imaginary pet cinchilla. Glim has one called Nigel, you know.

(but then, you wouldn't need to tidy the house if Nigel's parents were coming to visit. I suppose.)

It's totally ok - i think in the past i'd been calling him the boyfriend, too, so the name switch would've been confusing...

and hey, i clean for my cat, so why not a Nigel!pet cleaning (especially since he's way cute anyway)
