beware the loss of older fic archives

geocities is over. i've been trying to go through some of my fandom stuff and figure out which authors had archives there (there weren't a ton, but ... they're out there). Hopefully most of their stuff is archived somewhere else.
and just because
dwg has awesome link-fu, I am now aware of giant spiders taking over Yokohama. And you should be too. they are AWESOMESAUCE.

But I've thinking: If you're using the wayback machine now to find it they are archiving missing links.
I hope they get it done in time.
