evil ear infection
May. 12th, 2005 08:13 pmCotton balls. My head is stuffed with cotton balls. I have two fears: ears and eyes.
Eyes are easy - I just can't watch anything done with someone else's eyes. No surgery, no poking, no weird flipping up of the eyelid. The easiest way to terrorize me is to pretend to poke your own eye. I shudder and shake and turn away.
But ears - it's just the lack that makes me crazy. The wooly headed feeling, the muffled sounds. I want to climb the walls and all I hear is the echo of my own voice. It's not pretty. I wasn't meant to live inside my head like this.
So I do everything and anything to avoid ear problems. And now I've got one. And I'm slowly going insane. 9:15 am is the dr's appointment, and then I'll hopefully get some relief.

dont be a dork.
You succored me in my time of need.
Stoicism is fine and good...but I was imposing enough.
I owe you a life debt. You know that. Plus....I'm not much with the drama, even though it felt like I was going to die.
So how's texas?

Date: 2005-05-13 04:43 am (UTC)utter bullshit. not to be mushy (but i can if i want) you're a kindred soul. coudln't help but want to help. But whatever, i'm very glad you survived mostly intact.
texas?
other than the humidity, it kicks some serious ass. Course, could be that I love it simply because i'm actually back in classes, with all the learning and crap. Neil's happy too though - working from home is brilliant (besides he can play warcraft during the day). People here are different, but good. And it's not all redneck-y since it's Austin and liberal and the rest of texas hates us.
