Although I would describe the lavender more as a purpley-grey colour. It is nice. I like it.

not pink, per se, but more like what one would call a "dusty rose" color. Quite nice, but definitely more red/pink in the color than what I would consider lavender.

Then again, you already know this because it is my monitor that is freaking you out! =)

Thanks Campbell! I know, it's not true purple, because your LJ is true purple. I just saw it on snash_attack's monitor, though, and it looked rosey-pink and that kinda freaked me out. I don't want to have a pink lj, you know?

Hey, lady! on my monitor it's more of a mauve than a purple...kind of has a tan cast.

More like a gray with purple overlay . . . not the most reliable, I'm a little scrambled in the blue/purple spectrum. Not color blind, I just don't see it just right.

That's ok though - I just don't want it to be bright pink or anything (which is what it showed up on Neil's computer as... which is what prompted this whole thing)

Thank you lady! I was freaking a little because I saw my layout on a newly-purchased monitor, and it looked pretty pink. Not that I don't like pink, but it wasn't what I intended :D

yeah, lol. That's the thing about doing graphics and whatnot. You never really know how it looks on other people's screens. lol.
