2 (ohmygod! *loves buffy*) 4 (mew! the world needs more b/f icons, and this one's great) 12 (you know I like this one, tho'...it's so gorgeous: soft and pink and girly and dawn-y) 33 (i probably will never use this because i'm not a fan of angel/cordy, but this one is great. i love their expressions *sigh*) 34 (again, great expressions...so cute, and I love what you did with the colours, not to mention the colour itself...I kinda like purple, in case you didn't know) 13 (mew! mew! mew! *licks dawn* look at those lips! great pic and great whatever-you-did-that-makes-it-look-so-awesome)

and don't despair - i think it's all about practice and trying new things and occasionally about getting lucky when the new things work and you remember how to do them more than once. Also, i've got some icon tutorials saved in my memories that i've found really helpful - you'd probably love 'em too!
