Are your icons mostly made by other users? Nope. It's my strategy to keep pushing myself - if I don't have icons I'm proud to use I'd better learn how to make 'em.

Date: 2006-03-16 04:53 pm (UTC)I think my saving grace is that if someone makes an icon i really admire, i tend to save it but then try to figure out how they did what they did, instead of actually using it... and that cuts down the number of icons i have waiting to post... it's not a perfect system though, since some people are just so frigging talented i could cry (but then again, they also end up making beautiful icons of stuff that i would never use ... cuz of the pairing or whatever... so i admire it from afar)
