Or, rather, we made an offer.  And they made a counter offer.  And we accepted their counter offer.  And now we're getting inspections and Neil's measuring the rooms and they changed the MLS listing to "pending" and everything is coming along so fast it's making my head spin.  It doesn't feel quite real.  Yet nothing could be more real.

We keep asking ourselves, when did we turn into adults?

Yay! Congratulations! I know that buying a house is a very scary thing.

But, trust me, it doesn't make you a grown up. My husband and I decided we'll officially be grown ups when we have matching bedroom furniture.

OOO! You're sooo right - that's a totally good litmus test (and since we don't, we're still kids! yay!)

And it is a weird and kind of surreal experience, you know? Everything happened so fast too - we started looking online 6 months ago, but we actually *went out* and looked for houses for 2 weeks, and now, here we are, with... a house! But sometimes that happens...
