katekatI know I haven't posted icons in forever... it's not that I've stopped, simply that I was honored by a bunch of art requests over at ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
the_fund and those took priority. I will be back to iconing soon (I've only got 1 more request to go! Yay!), but thought I'd post what I've been up to over there.

Depending on what we can find, it might be hard to fit the space-ships in (which is what I'm hoping you mean by all the things mentioned on #3... otherwise let me know how i'm confused). Everything else I think might be possible. And I'm willing to take a stab, so to speak ;)

This is true.
It's purposefully that way (or intentionally).
But if it's *too* busy for you, let me know. I had another idea while I was falling asleep - it would be the same composition of the pictures, just using different stuff for the background/graphic-y kind of stuff.
Also, I hope you don't mind too terribly much, but i used RL pictures of the firefly crew - the drawings you linked to were AWESOME, but when putting everybody together, the drawings were a little hard to instantly recognize.

Or you can try the second design you thought about. Either's fine.

Date: 2005-10-19 06:28 am (UTC)Was your grouping of Wash, Xander, and Willow together intentional? Wash is the only character not alongside a castmate and they're all my favorites so I'm curious.
It'd probably be best to eliminate all the extraneous images I mentioned before but now I feel conflicted because I still want the X-Men included but they don't really fit with the theme. :p
Sorry I'm so indecisive.. I know it must be a little annoying even if you won't admit it. :)

Date: 2005-10-20 04:00 am (UTC)oh, and the groupings were based off of the original lists you gave me... willow, xander & walsh were all in your #1 row, so their images were all slightly bigger. Unf. I couldn't figure out a great way to put all of the ships in without making 'em small.. but i think you get the idea.

Date: 2005-10-20 05:53 am (UTC)Is there any way you can delete Archangel, move Nightcrawler to the left of Aly so that he and Colossus bookend the actors and then take only the symbol from the APC logo, blow it up, put "aesiron@livejournal.com" where the band name is and center that new logo in the white expanse to the left of the banner?
Something like this (http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y77/aesiron/2f33f2bf.jpg) but more integrated (with thicker parentheses) and as beautiful as the others. :)
The bar of images can go where the yellow is if you still want to try to incorporate DS9, Defiant, and Serenity. No Thor, though.

Date: 2005-10-21 03:05 am (UTC)I am thinking maybe something like this (http://photobucket.com/albums/y77/aesiron/e2225535.jpg) with Oz from BtVS and Ezri from DS9 added to the lineup and making each character sliver 50 pixels wide so that all ten will equal 500 pixels, exactly half of the banner.
The other half of the banner still needs spiced up a bit though.
