Wait - I actually had a pleasant prof, who smiled a lot. These petty distinctions aside, I'm done! Completely and totally done. For 18 whole days I don't have to speak Japanese!! I don't have to learn more grammar structures! I don't have to GET UP in the morning, and I don't have to memorize vocab, and I don't have to worry about what quiz I'm going to have to take, and I don't have to staple my homework together!

I'm dead dead dead tired though - after two and a half hours proving what I did and didn't know on the test this morning, and a slightly japanese style lunch this afternoon, the only thing I want to do is sit on the couch and jibber (in english). And maybe take a nap. Maybe.

what did you have for lunch? was it part of the class, or was it a celebratory lunch?

i had goulash (sp?) with london broil pieces in it; it was really quite good...there was also b-day cake (it was g-ma's 81st b-day 4 aug., but she was in idaho for a dance thingy, so we're celebrating today).

Well, it was kind of a celebratory lunch with the class (but not class mandated) at a sushi restaurant... so it was fun and we giggled a lot and made fun of some people...

ooo! b-day cake and goulash!! (i have no idea if that's how you spell it unfortunately - my spelling's all out of whack because of the japanese, but it sounds good to me).

and lol - i'll try and remember the food dork one and get some good pics from epicurious or something - we so both need that! and you do?? YAY! i wasn't sure about 'em but ... well, you know, i tried. *grin*

because g-ma wants us to eat at 7pm, then mum needs to cut g-ma's fur...and there'll be more "fun" geneaology stuff to do (i'll be napping, most likely *grin*)

OOO, emailing right now! Since I'll actually have time to read it! Although, I warn you, a lot of people get a lot of stuff wrong with Japan - makes me believe I actually need to sit down and read Said's Orientalism.
