The colors have changed, and thanks to the marvelous, adorable, and helpful miss glimmergirl I now have a top banner!

It's been an interesting experience - I've discovered I can't stand my lj any other color than black (apparently other colors are ok for everyone else, but not me), that I can understand scary pages with code on them when I put my mind to it, and that LJ isn't quite as evil to customize as I thought it was (well, as long as there are tutorials that lead me through it step by step).

Looks good! Quite easy to read, which many black background pages are not.

Thanks! I know - black background is technically supposed to be easier on your eyes (particularly if you're at the screen at night), but it's hard to find the right balance. And I was tired of the red that I'd had. I like red, but it does tend to hurt the eyes. Blue is much calmer.
