it was definitely an up and down weekend.  But there was ZOO!  and I keep forgetting to post the pictures - I will hopefully upload them at some point so you can all oooh and ahh over the ring-tailed lemurs. (my favorite)

and there was BBQ on Suday, which was great but also sort of nervous because it wasn't people we knew, more people we didn't, and it is work to do that whole mixer thing.  especially if you're not feeling terribly social, which i'm not actually sure i was.

oh, and there was NOT writing or translation, which is VERY VERY BAD.  But I'm giving myself till tomorrow.  Rough draft is coming this week come hell or high water.

And I officially got into another grad school!!! YAY!  Except this one I don't want to go to (for non-school reasons).  LOL.   Hopefully this means others are coming soon.

I was just going through your journal to snag those awesome Tara icons (because I have more icon space now!), and realized I'd managed to miss this entry. Thanks so much babe!!
