what do you do when you can't cut your doll head open?

you decide you'll knock it's head off.

I'm pooped.  Yesterday's dental appointment left me with a sore cheek, a mouth that was way more in pain than I expected, and a bad night's sleep.  I'm trying to keep my good attitude about dental work (yay nitrous) but I'm losing grip on that fast.

however, I've successfully built my first project for my Weird Science class!  You can find its webpage here (for the curious).  Tomorrow in class I'm going to knock it's head back off in a ceremony ... I've just got to come up with the symbolism sometime between now and 2 pm. (something other than: resistance to the creator is futile)

i need to write more on the thesis.  i have probably done too much work grading.  and playing with my toy.  this weekend will be a school weekend though, as long as the teeth stop hurting.
