that being said, neither fate nor karma works in those ways, so I refuse to feel completely guilty about it. But the house isn't ours yet - through the strange rules of FHA loans, we can't offer what we wanted to offer on the house, and instead must offer $2000 less, and the real estate agent who's doing the deal on the other side evidently thinks that we're all in some big conspiracy to screw her out of that money.
hell, if i had that money, it'd be hers. But, sadly, I don't, we don't, and we're not going to be able to come up with it in time to close (not that we're pennyless, but the estimated closing costs are what we saved for, not this). So we're in not-quite-there limbo as far as the house goes - yes from the bank (finally), and yet, no...
