katekat: (buffy - summertime)
Wait - I actually had a pleasant prof, who smiled a lot.  These petty distinctions aside, I'm done!  Completely and totally done.  For 18 whole days I don't have to speak Japanese!!  I don't have to learn more grammar structures!  I don't have to GET UP in the morning, and I don't have to memorize vocab, and I don't have to worry about what quiz I'm going to have to take, and I don't have to staple my homework together!

I'm dead dead dead tired though - after two and a half hours proving what I did and didn't know on the test this morning, and a slightly japanese style lunch this afternoon, the only thing I want to do is sit on the couch and jibber (in english).  And maybe take a nap.  Maybe.

*grin*
katekat: (Me)
I have the most wonderful boyfriend in the everlovin' world.  Seriously.  First, he wrote me a little note of encouragement for my final and stuck it on my keys so I would be sure to see it in the morning before I left.  He's cute and kind and cuddly, and laughs at my jokes even when I'm not terribly funny.  He went to Best Buy to buy himself a video game and came back with Season 5 of Buffy for me.  He's listened to me gripe constantly, from day 1, about Japanese and how hard it is and has been supportive and sweet and hasn't told me to shut my mouth because he's heard it so often.  Instead, he offered study suggestions and made me feel better when I was tired.  Hell, he even cooked dinner all the nights I was too tired or too mired in flashcards and strange vocabulary words to think about food.

I just don't know why I'm this lucky.  But damn I am.
