deep breath... and silence....

katekati'm sitting here basking in the ... not quite quiet, because we're watching the Iowa Caucuses, but in the relative quiet.
It's been a rompy rolly bunch of wonderful days. Having guests in your house right after christmas when you're most used to being by yourselves is wonderful, loud, silly, and fun, but my energy levels and pocketbook levels are so low I feel like it's going to take me a week to get back into the swing of a normal schedule again. Especially since we went from three people in the house to five people in the house for an entire week, and six people for a couple of days.
And it'll probably take me another week to get everything we did into my LJ. But I think, isntead of the monster post, i'm going to try and do it a little bit at a time. Tonight, I'm enjoying the relative quiet. And recharging the batteries.
