T-24 and counting...

katekatuntil Wednesday morning. That's when class starts, and I become a virtual hermit!
Although I've already started doing TA-work (even before classes actually start). This isn't terribly surprising, I suppose, to those of you who have TAed before, but dear gods. Three essays, book discussions, another conference today AND I've got work to do scanning tomorrow. At least we're going paperless so I won't have to make copies. Scans, all the way.
The best part I discovered today is that I get medical coverage along with the job. Anything will be a step up from student health services (I hope).
So this evening we had the most beautiful clouds as the sun began to set. Straight out of a Maxfield Parrish painting. See:
And in case you were wondering, the "new" kitten, dearest Ash, keeps growing by leaps and bounds.
