Stunningly beautiful work with these ones. Love the Cordy/Charisma one. Love how you blended it and changed the skin tone of the base. The Tara/Spike one is amazing too, especially looking at the base you worked with.

it's my secret guilty pleasure to see other people's bases, so i figured i'd show mine (i think in some cases it makes people realize how *little* work a manip can be, but it's still kind of fun to do show and tell)

Beautiful work throughout - you've done a particularly good job matching skin tones. And may I say that I LOVE all these bases as well?

thank you so much darling! you know my secret with the skin tones is to actually do a color layer with the original over the top of the manip - and then to fudge the face stuff .... it keeps things more true and i'm glad you like!

I tried that method with a couple of Spike manips I did with a Prince of Persia base. The original face was kind of smudged with smoke and dirt and trying to match that was a bugger, but I thought that method worked fairly well. I haven't tried it in a 'regular' manip. I'll remember to give it a go if I'm running into trouble - thanks!

These are fabu! I love the final Buffy one but the Tara/Spike one is fantastic as well. All are wonderful shots and you did great with the manipping. Your color/tone matching is flawless. Such wonderful work!

i hoped you might like the spara one!! although i'm still not in love with how spike shows up in the picture - but all my playing generated versions that were less appealing than the one that ended up being posted so... at least there's a best of the best.

and YAY for the Buffy-in-white love! I knew as soon as I saw the pic that it would have to be her standing by the window...

These are all absolutely superb. They all have a strange, almost Twin Peaksian quality, especially the Spike/Tara and the Cordy one. I hope you won't mind me reccing them on buffyversetop5?

and i agree with you about the twinpeekyness of those two - although the effect was more of a happy mistake than my intention on the Cordy one (but the Spike/Tara I wanted as haunting as possible)
