ok, the update, for real this time

So, guess what's really been occupying my time - the last week of school!  Yep, this week is actually finals week, and here on the first day of said finals week I have spent 6 hours at a coffee shop working on my papers.

Of course, there's still *tons* to go.  But the to do list looks really small:

• 20 page Mass & Pop Culture paper (due Wed)
  
• 10-15 page Core Readings paper (due Thu)
  
• Japanese comprehensive final (Fri morning)

Just three things, should be easy, right?  BWAHAHA.

I've decided to cave and create myself a couple of meters, so you guys are going to be forced to look at them....

Mass and Pop Culture Paper

3,500 / 6,000 (58.3%)

Core Readings Paper

1,000 / 3,000 (33.3%)

It's not so bad, right? But the hours and minutes are slipping by. And there's no such thing as a meter for Japanese studying, I don't think.  The plan tonight is to watch some Heroes, then head right back in and try and get the rough M&C Paper completed.  I'm halfway done so it's not that bad, right?  And then spend another 6 hours at the coffee shop tomorrow, working on rewriting/editing of the thing, and finishing the Core Readings paper.  I think I'm actually in better shape than I was last semester, thank goodness.  Not by much, but hey, baby steps are baby steps.  Wish me luck!

I feel your pain. OH MY GOD. I feel it very much. I have three article length papers due on Wednesday, and they are all in various states of done-ness, and only one feels like it's going to be decent when it's finished, and I want them DONE so fucking badly, I don't even WANT an extension.
