Is the moment when you have to record your skit for posterity.  The moment you realize you will be in the university archives somewhere (who knows what kind of vaults the japanese teachers keep) explaining grammar structures.

So, I'm owning my shame.



I apologize for the quality (seriously, deeply, apologize).  I'm new at youtube, we have a tiny video camera, and I am NOT a film person.

narimas means "to become" ... so in the middle one when i'm constantly saying it, it's like .... the old man became young, the morning became night, the nice day got cold, the man became a woman.... that kind of thing....

and you liked our silly jump! hee! that was my idea... i kept thinking of those silly 80s sitcoms where everybody's happy at the end. yes, my dork status is totally preserved. :D

And after having seen the rest... YISSS, you must be giving her my number. The last one was indeed adorable, which is sad because you never actually use し in conversation and I've only seen it in writing a handful of times. At the end there with the sensei advancing on her menacingly, I was halfway expecting it to end with a spanking. >_> Clearly, I read too much Japanese porn.

And do you really want me to pass along your info? cuz you know i will. but be warned - Janice (Jan-eece in a sorta phoenitc spelling) is one of those very sweet people who has depression problems - total sweetheart but also doesn't make it to class and doesn't take stress well...

Haha, nah -- and not because of the depression, but because it's just damned creepy to be like, "Yeah, so random person ON THE INTERNET saw our video and thought you were hot and wants to get to know you now." I'm not a weirdo stalker, honest, I'm just really shallow and a sucker for pretty people. :D 面食い (めんくい) the word is in Japanese -- literally means 'face eater,' not that that's any less creepy. >_>
