Ok, first off, it does not snow in Austin. At least not regularly. But it is today!! Roads are closed, overpasses are frozen over, and we have icicles!
lol - do i sense a small hint of sarcasm? *grin* don't you get snow often lady? it's so bizzare because the entire town is shut down just because we got a little cold weather ... when i think of other places that actually live with inches...feet...of snow through most of the winter... it's ... yeah. humans are funny, aren't we?
No, really, it looks *cold*! We haven't had ice yet this year, just freezing coldness without any rain etc. In the SouthWest we just tend to get cold and rain, not snow or anything like that :(
Wow! Look at all that snow. You definitely got a good dusting, didn't you? And all the icicles! Seriously, it's like Austin moved to MT without knowing it ;)
Have a great rest of the week; I'll talk to you later!
aww *hugs* on the one hand, i'd wish you weather like this, but then again, that would mean the entire world was really heading into a new ice age... which, probably not so good.
are you having fun with it? i only wish i'd thought to go to the store and get stew ingredients so i could make warm things for food and take advantage of the weather that way. :D
sadly, my life has little time for hibernation against the weather. I still have to go to work, the gym, etc.
also, since my whole body violently detoxed on Sunday, I'm pretty much stuck eating very simple things right now. it's OK in a way, I'm eating really really WELL, but no beef stews for me.
Firstly - i'm so jealous. It never snows here. As in ever, full stop, no. :( Secondly - :D Your entire CONTINENT must be snowing! I swear 3/4 of my flist has posted going "Omg it never snows in ... BUT IT'S ALL WHITE OUTSIDE!" Thirdly - pretty.
lol. i think you might be right about that! i was looking at the weather last night and they're even getting snow and freezing rain in Mexico of all places!
