That was beautiful. She sounds like an amazing woman. And I completely understand why you feel the way you do - it was kinda the same with my Dziadek (grandad) before he passed away. You remember the person that was, after they pass, not what they became in the end or the bad things or quirks they had. In many ways after a decline it's a bit of a relief, they won't be in pain anymore and (if you believe in this sort of thing) they're in better health in a better place. It's good.
