Day 3 of the In-Law visit!

katekatWell, we've survived mostly intact so far. Actually, it's not that bad - there's lots of eating, some wine drinking, and lots of allowances for me to work on homework. And on Sunday we did find table chairs we really liked and an entertainment center we mostly totally liked, and those will probably be coming home tomorrow ...
I did manage to actually accomplish things this weekend - not as many as I liked, but not as few as I'd feared. And when I ripped a new hole in Tokugawa Religion (in my response paper) the prof gave me an A-. So hey, academics yay!
There is some tension, Neil and I both handle parents in different ways, and both handle his parents in different ways than we handle mine. But tension is tension, and it's not like it's the end of the world. Unfortunately since they're around and I have to actually study this week, it makes cuddling for emotional reassurance doubly hard, but if that's the worst of it, it really doesn't sound so bad, does it?
