AND YAY! Ok, Prezi (sorry that was a misspelling above) is a free, online, flash based, alternative to Power Point. The cool thing about it is that you put in all your content (be it words or images), and then designate what it calls a "path" (which is basically just clicking on each object with the mouse so it numbers them in an order you like, and then the Prezi engine takes over and animates that path. The advantages over power point? 1) you can go 'back' to an earlier point without having to scroll through all previous slides. 2) you can set up your data/presentation in a non-linear manner. 3) it allows you to "zoom in" on pieces of pictures (a plus for art historians who constantly show images but usually in power point can't actually get them 'big' enough for people to really see the fine details they're talking about. Besides, it's *pretty*.
and this is the one that i *just* used. it doesn't have as much text because I tend to go with the 'marketing' approach to presentations (if someone is going to get your presentation through your text without you there, you make yourself inessential.) http://prezi.com/7uqa8ujn1xro/?utm_campaign=share&utm_medium=copy
And the first couple of seasons of Teen Wolf are on Netflix, though not the current 'second half of the third season' (they're weird and split up the seasons into A & B). and I *love* it! except it's kind of a sausage fest, though they're doing better this season i think.
and YES YES YES ABOUT KEVIN SPACEY OMG! If you loved him in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil you will LOVE him in this. Just, he's evil. I mean, truly evil. It's pretty stunning actually. Tell me when you start watching I will totally head nod with you ;) In all your spare time!
