4) At least you have cobblers who can fix them. I have a pair of shoes I absolutely adore, but have been told that they cannot be fixed and to just buy new ones. Sigh. But the problem is, I've worn these for 5 years and they are out of style!!! GRRR
5) Hahahaha! I saw that festival on a the discovery channel back in the late late 90s. I don't think I had laughed so hard in my entire life at that point. I DEMAND PICS!!!
6) I love chicken picatta. I love the recipe I use, but I had never thought to top it with avocado. I am so, so, so there!
7) Oh god, finding out someone in RL has found your fandom sites is a massive embarrassment. Luckily your friend's roommate had a positive experience there. AND YES TO FANDOM STUFF OVER THE SUMMER!!! Does that mean you are hosting SoG this year?
8) I occasionally read Sherlock stuff, but never got into Supernatural. I fear more fandoms. I just don't seem to have enough time for the one I play in regularly.
9) Yay! The hubby and I need to get ours done. Blah.
10) Tastes like pink. That just makes me laugh. Because the first thing I associate with pink is Pepto Bismol, which should really be called Pepto Abysmal, because it tastes horrible. Of course the second thing I associate with pink is cotton candy. So, that could be good. But cotton candy is mostly blue for me when the word comes up. Weird. I am not sure when they are calling for the Cherry Blossom Festival here in DC. Hmm. I should look that up.
And I noticed there were a lot of exclamation points in this response. Oh well. :)
