LOL - well, he is the same artist... could be! It came from Penny Arcade - I guess a bunch of artists were making world of warcraft sketches. I love JV though.
The guys from Penny Arcade were at the big Con in San Diego a few weeks back, and they were keeping a sketchbook of World of Warcraft sketches; apart from them doing their own drawings, they were handing it off to anyone who would doodle in it. Apparently, this is Jhonen's version of his warlock (I'm guessing undead) from the game...
There were also some other cool pieces; but you have to be really geeky and it helps to be into WoW too =)
