Summary:

New relationships are hard enough when it's just two guys against the world. Falling for his best friend/War veteran/telepathic-dragon is the best and worst thing that's ever happened but however much Adam loves Kris, he's starting to worry that it won't be enough.

The world is trying to get back to normal in the wake of the Other War but some scars run too deep to heal. Kris is still broken and Adam is starting to fall apart trying to keep them together. They're racing towards a breaking point that Adam doesn't think they'll survive.

So, I have rambled repeatedly about how beautiful, evocative and outright stunning your artwork is but it's all still true. I am awed and humbled by the artwork you've created and so very very lucky to have had you as my artist.

The poster was beautiful, the shades and textures were so apt to the mood of the fic; dark but hopeful and awesome.

The opening narrative picture is beautiful; I love the way Kris and his wing are so fluidly integrated and the size differential between Kris who is relaxed and focused and Adam who is still caught between the publicity tour and their real life. ♥

I adore the defensive Adam-picture. It's so perfectly fitted to the visualization I had for the scene in the fic that I can't even articulate how much I love it. Adam's posture, Kris' back to the viewer and the bony wing. ♥

Allison and her salt shaker! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ There is nothing about this image that isn't perfect; the smile, the salt shaker, the contrastingly bright/white colouration and the intricate shape of the wing hinting at her own untapped depths. ♥

The dreaming Adam picture is fantastic; the spectre of dragons and the hints of the whole greater world around him that Adam is inexorably becoming part of is depicted so beautiful and so evocative.

The final picture...honestly, it's so perfect and so stunning that I truly do not have words for it. I love it and it's amazing.

The dividers are beautiful (and I am going to figure out why DW won't let me post them all in the fic sooooon).

I don't usually comment on artwork (for no particular reason), but these pieces compelled me to take action. All of them fit the story perfectly and are beautiful in their own right. My favorite image is of Allison and the salt shaker ~ I love the motion of the salt. The image of Kris and Adam back-to-back (last one) is a very, very close second ~ from a non-artist standpoint, it's obvious that time and skill was spent on it. Simply gorgeous!
