Need FLIST help!

Ok, so even though I'm actually a bit out of commission on the icon front, I think about making them all the time.

The next project is going to be 10 icons for each of my favorite characters, set to a song that I associate with them. So, for example, I'd make a set of 10 Giles icons all with words from the Sting song "Every Breath You Take" since Tony's mentioned he thinks of that as the quintessential Watcher song.

Here's the problem: I don't have songs associated with many characters. Do you? I'd love love love to hear your suggestions/thoughts!

The characters I'm thinking of:

Giles (I'd love to see if you have any alternative suggestions)

Spike
Tara
Willow
Xander
Angel
Faith
Cordelia
Anya

Phew. No promises as to when I'll be able to do this little project, but when I do you'll know about it! Thanks in advance for any songs you suggest!

I downloaded "Magic Man" by Heart the other day and every time I listen to it, I think of Wes. Not sure why. Could be for Giles too. You could set any Pat Benatar song for Faith. Let me think about which one. That might be cool. Maybe "Love is a Battlefield". I think this is a great idea. We all have songs that float around in our heads about our favorite characters.

Interesting project. I look forward to seeing the icons you create as a result of this.

As for inspiration, maybe you can use the Buffy/Giles soundtrack (http://www.livejournal.com/community/allthejellies/112117.html) I put together or the Giles soundtrack (http://www.livejournal.com/community/theicing/3487.html) asherific and I put collaborated on. Granted, the B/G soundtrack if very shippy...but there are songs that I think really reflect very distinct aspects of Buffy and Giles.
