Fic Graphics: Movie Poster Edition

Hi guys ... I have an offer.  I'm totally enchanted with this post and this post that have promo posters for different movies and television shows.  I would love to make some for people's fics. 

So if you'd like to have a fic poster that might turn out like this, or this, or this, or this, or this, or some combo from those pages and out of my imagination, comment with the following below:

a) title
b) your name (ie: lj name, writing handle, etc)
c) tag-line OR favorite sentence/quote from the fic
d) characters/pairing  (please give me at least two characters, but if you have a fic about an ensemble, tell me how much the others are in it so I can arrange them properly)
e) link to your fic OR
e) if the fic isn't finished, give me a general idea about what type of fic (angsty, dramatic but hopeful, action adventure) and a general summary of what happens, and if you would like 'coming soon' text on the poster

[ i'm screening comments in case you want to tell me about fic you're working on but don't want to share with the world ]

• I'll be making the "posters" 415 w x 580 h (that's about as big as I can get a "poster" to fit on my screen without having resize issues, so I'm arbitrarily working with that size canvas), and can make you smaller "promo" sizes if you like.
• any fandom.  ANY fandom.  :D
• since i'll be doing these in my free time, they may not get done fast.  but since i'm interested... they may.  no promises unless you specify a date you need it by and I'll try to work to that deadline
  

I'll edit this entry to close if I feel like I'm getting overwhelmend with requests, so until then, ask away!

ETA: 3.22.09 I'm still taking requests! but i head back to school tomorrow, so it will likely be more like a week before i can get to requests. if you're ok with that, keep commenting.

re your last comment: are you kidding?? this sounds like so much fun! i'm ALL over it.

(i was going for the drama with the first fic because it started out with that tone and then was a great kind of lyrical sexy resolution, which i didn't include in the poster really)

yay!! i was worried that you would mind the whole JM being in there, but it was the only good kiss pic i could find that would do the right things, and i tried to darken his face enough that it wouldn't be noticiable (so maybe it wasn't?) and IT'S A GREAT FIC OF COURSE I COULD FIND A WAY TO DO SOMETHING WITH IT!!

i was totally channeling the Midnight cover at first! but then i though it was too easy (which may only make sense in my own brain) and boy can i tell you how many thousands of pictures of Savannah are out there?

and apparently i've had multiple imperfections on my mind (probably the emo state, and has nothing to do with the fic!) but here, fixed!

d) Season six Spike and Buffy (I mention this because stills of them from other seasons would not work for me. I hope that's not weird...)
e) The fic is finished--I just have an epilogue to add to it (which is already written--I'm just holding off on posting until April 2nd for seasonal_Spuffy), in which Spike says a poem to Buffy. Seriously, I'm SO glad you like them!!!

And also, i'm really glad you're writing in this fandom because it seems so wonderful and adorable and HOT (and i really wish i could find a way to actually watch it that didn't involve downloading it, because i'm lazy and don't download stuff, but it seems so sparkly and wonderful and FUN). Trust me it was NOT a hardship to look at screencaps of those boys - they are so cute together that the slash must practically write itself. Thank you for giving me the chance to explore new fandomy stuff (and oh boy i forgot what it looked like to see an active fandom!)

and ONLY IF YOU HAVE TIME and really really did want to write it I wonder what kind of a fic you'd turn out if you were describing the notes that Giles and Wes or Giles and Buffy left for each other? I've been on an epistolary kink lately and not gotten it satisfied (although i don't think buffy would really be a letter writer per se, but then again, i wonder). But seriously do not feel obligated, because your sweet and awesome response to the images was seriously all the thanks I need (and if you ever want movies for any other fic, just drop me a note, seriously, because I would love to).

well, *read* might be too broad a word... skim? but i love spike/tara fics and i can't believe that i hadn't read yours (except i'll be honest, i'm afraid of WIPs - too many cliffhangers), and yes of course she had to be mentioned, right? i hope you don't mind - but she seems like SUCH a big influence on the story (as much as Spike and Tara to a certain degree). And whoah can you work the angst - how many years of separation???! :D

anyway, i'm terribly terribly pleased you like it! and thank you for your super sweet comments. it makes it all worthwhile :D
