Oh dear. This is the only problem with gearing up for a fantastic feast - the post feast day of rest NEEDS to be taken.
It's been a lovely week though - shopping last weekend (we got new house phones that have a cool display menu and goofy as hell ring tones, but we kind of like them) and experienced the fear and terror (and silly) of a Super Target. Made it through classes last week just waiting for Thursday to come around. Then Wednesday afternoon came, with it's cleaning and stock-rendering (for the stuffing, of course). The temperature that morning got into the 80s and by nightfall had dropped down to the high 40s.
And finally, Turkey Day dawned. ( Neil did his usual mad turkey ) I hope y'all had fantastic Turkey Day celebrations (if you do that sort of thing) and lovely Thursdays if you don't!
( so today i'm trying to muster the energy to do homework )
I blame my utter lack of motivation on the Turkey, really. It's all triptophane's falt.
