May. 4th, 2006 11:18 pmNo, seriously. We had national weather service warnings and everything. Here's our NSA Severe Thunderstorm Warning.
It meant that the sky was filled with blue flame, flickering off and on with rain that swirled and trees that bent and swayed like they were dancing to some unearthly rhythm. It was mesmerising. We turned off all the lights and shut down all the machines and sat in our window seat, awed at the beauty.
