katekatOk, so I was tagged by Miranda and I'm *finally* getting to it....
1.) We have to post these rules before we give you the facts.
2.) Players start with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
3.) People who are tagged write their own blog post about their eight things and include these rules.
4.) At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged and they should read your blog.
1. I cannot stand watching other people touch their eyes, or do things with their eyes, or even see eyes close up in movies (like anybody remember the eye replacement scene in Minority Report? I had to watch it with my fingers over my own eyes). It FREAKS me out. I can't even watch someone rub their eyes hard, really. However, I have absolutely no problems putting contacts into my own eyes - none at all.
2. I'm still trying to cook the perfect chicken - and I still haven't achieved it. You know, the delicate balance between completely cooked and yet still soft? Neil can do it better than I can. But I keep trying.
3. When I was pre-teen I lived with a drug dealer and he put the downpayment on a house we were buying down in cash. I was pretty sheltered from most of the crazyness, but looking back on it now I can see that it was a very crazy world I lived in for a little while.
4. I wish I was a laid back person and I try to be, but underneath it all I'm kind of a control freak. I don't know if that's random enough, but it's true.
5. I always feel better after I've bought books.
6. When walking through thick crowds I often feel like I'm rollerskating - this is probably because that's how I learned to navigate crowds - at the roller rink that my girlfriends and I went to when I was in highschool (usually every friday or sunday night).
7. I say that I'm not a morning person, and yet when guests are in my house in the morning I have no problem being relentlessly cheery (unless hung over)
8. Sometimes when I'm doing particularly bad at Japanese I wonder if I haven't actually ruined my brain by doing too many naughty things in my college years (and early 20s)

Date: 2007-07-29 02:53 pm (UTC)4. I thought I was a laid-back person until my senior year in HS, when I realized that I was the least spazzy of a spazzy, high-stress group of friends.
7. I am totally a morning person, and not ashamed to say it! We will have coffee sometime at the crack of dawn and have a grand old time!
