it's an exciting to do list.
Apr. 5th, 2005 07:19 pmOk, ok, I know I've been procrastinating. On everything. It's too much fun just to read my flist and goof around. Oh, and configure Tyler's LJ
gray_ghost even if he hasn't actually put anything up there yet. The turd.
But, there is a to do list. It's not long, just intensive.
1. Linguistics - re-read chapters 3, 4, 5 & 10 for test tomorrow.
2. Madness outline - construct theory, pull quotes, and finish bibliography. Thanks to everyone at
literary_theory I'm in good shape, but I still have to do it.
3. Respond to the half dozen emails I haven't responded to.
4. Pot the rest of the plants that are dying of thirst in the garden.
5. Clean the house.
6. Do the laundry. *shudder* many loads.
That'll do for the night, I think.
I'd much prefer to be posting something scintillating, something about the absolutely gorgeous weather and the amazing hike we went on today for Native Plants. I'd like to be finishing fic that I've actually got an outline for, and helping people with icons (besides making more to fill up the pages of my revised icon site). But it's not gonna happen today. Or tomorrow. Because tomorrow is GOMEZ (along with a test and the paper I have to turn in). Can I just say, if you haven't heard of Gomez, go, find music, listen, learn, love.

Date: 2005-04-06 01:19 am (UTC)AWK!
Date: 2005-04-07 09:47 am (UTC)I totally forgot to ask you about gomez! Did you have fun? Tell me! Tell me! *smacks self for not asking sooner*
Huh...I should, possibly, take away all of my internet priviledges after 1am---bad things happen (at the very least, I shouldn't allow myself to converse with others...I tend to be hyper and suffer from a severe case of foot-in-mouth disease...)
Also: native plant hiking sounds like so much fun *envy*. Just for that I'm gonna have to take a botany class (which includes horse riding, so when I fall off the horse and break my precious limbs I can blame you ;) ).
Anyway, tell me all about gomez!

Date: 2005-04-07 05:57 pm (UTC)Sadly, there was no gomez for us - we missed the show. It was actually on Tuesday night, not Wednesday, and we didn't realize it till last night. *sigh* I woudln't have been able to go anyway because I had that exam and paper due, so I'm kinda looking at it like a no-harm, no-foul kind of thing. We'll catch 'em again sometime. So don't feel funny!! you didn't miss a thing.
And as far as botany including riding?? That's like the best of ALL worlds stuck together! You won't fall off. You'll have a blast. Promise!
