The great Oz icon post...

In an attempt to finish my fic for maleslashminis (Oz round), I apparently went into a frenzy of Oz iconing.  But I couldn't just stop there - there are also some new Core 4/Scoobies icons (with antennapedia in mind), some Tara/Xander (made for secondalto - who has graciously shared them), two Oz/Xander, a bunch of Oz/Willow, and then at the very end some Giles (because I can't leave him out), Xander, and one G/B.

Frenzy, I tell you, frenzy.

At least for me.

I love him in early season 3 cuz he's so cute and sweet.

Really? I see the opposite reaction from others because Xander was harsh with Buffy in Dead Man's Party and Revelation. Other than these two episodes, I thought Xander was really amazing in S3... except when he cheated on Cordelia.

HM - maybe it's just that i'm going off of screencaps and what I remember, but I thought he was a typical highschool guy - making some mistakes, trying to figure out who he was, but all in all, kinda loveable. And it's interesting that you get people who think Xander's the harsh one - it seems to me S3 there were times when everybody was harsh.

I didn't hate Xander in Dead Man's Party... or anyone else in that matter. What I like about the scene is that everyone was being selfish and yet still justified. However, in that episode, only Xander who got the major criticism from the fans, even though I thought Willow deserved more criticism than Xander.

In Revelation, I thought Xander was a big jerk to Buffy because he hinted that Angel was the one who hurt Giles when he already knew that it wasn't Angel, not only that, but he also tried to stop Faith from killing Angel earlier. So why hint that it was Angel? Only because he was angry at Buffy and wanted to hurt her.

I think Xander is usually hated by some Bangel and Spuffy fans because he's doesn't seem to accept Buffy's relationship with them. My favorite canon ship is Xander/Cordelia and I don't hate Willow because she helped break that relationship. Well...

Xander is surely adorable is season three. Hopefully we'll see more S3 Xander icons from you, Kate... there's that scene in Dead Man's Party where Xander and Cordelia kiss by the stairs, I'd really like to see that scene icon-ed, and your icons are so beautiful.. so *hint* *hint*
