beware the loss of older fic archives

geocities is over.  i've been trying to go through some of my fandom stuff and figure out which authors had archives there (there weren't a ton, but ... they're out there).  Hopefully most of their stuff is archived somewhere else.

and just because dwg has awesome link-fu, I am now aware of giant spiders taking over Yokohama. And you should be too. they are AWESOMESAUCE.

LJ is the equivalent for *me*. MySpace or FaceBook is the equivalent in the greater online community, but I don't really mess with either of those, but I put a lot into this community, and my profile here is a lot more meaningful than the one at either of those other sites.
